Design and analysis of bridge anti-collision devices
Project Background:
Conduct acceleration tests on the crash barrier model to ensure numerical consistency between the analytical model and experimental model at the acceleration test points.
Technical Requirements:
a) Establish a complete finite element crash model.
b) Perform simulation analysis under modified crash conditions.
c) Conduct experimental analysis under modified crash conditions to identify the model's material parameters and dimensions through comparative studies.
Calculation Results:
Through comparative analysis of the finite element model and experimental data, it was determined that when the front face thickness of the model is set to 5.2 mm, the final deformation of both the vehicle and the protective device system aligns with experimental results. Therefore, the material parameters and dimensions of this model can serve as the baseline.
