Analysis Background

The slide is a shell part with uniform thickness, and its thickness dimension is much smaller than the other two dimensions.

Analysis Objectives

Extract the mid-surface from the 3D solid geometry, and devide into finite element meshes on the mid-surface. Quadrilateral planar elements are mainly used, while triangular elements are adopted around the circular holes. Beam elements are used for the support structure. For the cobra head part of the model, parts that have little impact on structural stiffness and strength analysis are simplified, and edge fillets and face fillets in the model are repaired.
