Course Overview:

Flotherm is an electronic system thermal simulation analysis software developed by FLOMERICS (UK), a pioneer in electronic system thermal simulation software. It is widely used by electronic system structural design engineers and electronic circuit design engineers worldwide. Flotherm is developed by integrating mature CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and numerical heat transfer simulation technologies with FLOMERICS’ extensive unique experience and databases in heat transfer of electronic devices. Additionally, Flotherm software features a large number of model libraries specifically developed for the electronics industry.

Course Schedule:

Training starts upon successful registration. Weekend sessions are available (Morning: 9:00–12:00; Afternoon: 14:00–17:30).

• Day 1:

  • Flotherm file management
  • Mesh generation technology
  • Introduction to Flotherm usage
  • FLO/MCAD import
  • Convergence issues and solutions

• Day 2:

  • Transient analysis definition
  • Chip modeling methods
  • Editing of batch files
  • Establishment of Compact Models
  • Other usage tips

• Day 3:

  • Application of optimization modules

Instructor Profile:

Possesses 5–10 years of practical experience in finite element analysis projects and holds qualified instructor certification.

Fees

1. 4,000 USD/person (Group discounts: 10% for 2 attendees, 15% for 3+; 10% for students/teachers with ID). Accommodation not included.
2. Optional Vocational Skills Certification (1,600 USD) issued by Boye Engineering Technology, valid for career advancement.
